Hubbard Type Foundry has pneumatic keyboards as well as the Monotype 272 computerised system with the 31-channel punch, also the Monotype 572 system which was a later system Monotype produced for Hot-Metal typesetting up to 24 point.

As Hubbard Type Foundry has the Monotype 272 and 572 systems, any matrix case arrangement can be programmed into the system to typeset any typeface and produce 31-channel punch tape if no keybars are available for the standard pneumatic keyboard and forward the typesetting "spools" for casting on the customer's Composition Caster. A course is available instructing all the changeovers required for "Large Type Composition", sizes from 16 up to 24 point.

Hubbard Type Foundry has three composition and three Super Casters fully operational as well as the 272/572 Computerised systems and can cast type from 4½ to 72 point, and has moulds for casting the old Imperial Type sizes and Didot Continental Type sizes.
